Another month, another set of dreams

May Goals Recap:

DNR:

• I addressed Micah and Alex’s feedback
• Got revised salinity data from Micah, which no longer explains my protein abundance data
• Started to rework my paper to reflect this
• Put together all of my supplemental material

Virginica:

• Finished the pipeline for all samples
• Started bedtools analyses
• Created a draft manuscript with intial laboratory methods
• Submitted an abstract for PCSGA!

June Goals

DNR:

• FINALLY FINISH AND SUBMIT THIS PAPER BEFORE MY BRAINS EXPLODE

Virginica:

• Understand the location of DMLs in the genome
• Look at proportions of transposable elements that are methylated
• Update analysis methods and results section of the paper

Gigas:

• Extract DNA from broodstock
